Fiberglass double doors in New Jersey were manufactured for this church entrance with custom-sized decorative privacy glass and oversized pull handles.
This was not a standard front door project. The entrance required a double door system made to fit the existing opening, with glass sized specifically for the space. Instead of using a catalogue option, the doors were built around the project’s measurements, design needs, and daily use.
The goal was to create an entrance that looks clean and modern while still feeling appropriate for a public building. The decorative glass allows natural light to enter the space, while the privacy texture helps reduce visibility from the outside.
Custom-sized decorative privacy glass
The glass is one of the main features of this project.
Each door includes a tall decorative glass insert with a flowing line pattern. From the outside, the glass adds visual interest to the entrance and works well with the black door finish. From the inside, it helps bring daylight into the building without fully exposing the interior.
For a church or community building, that balance matters. The entrance should feel welcoming, but it also needs to support privacy, comfort, and everyday function.
Built for the existing opening
Because this was a custom project, the doors were manufactured to fit the existing entrance. That detail is important. A proper fit helps the door system look intentional, align with the surrounding brick façade, and support long-term performance.
The photos show both stages of the project: the door system in the workshop before completion and the finished entrance installed at the church in New Jersey. This gives a clear view of how the custom glass, black finish, and hardware come together in the final result.
